NY fashion week, what’s in and what’s out?

La grande mela ha ospitato la settimana della moda, da appassionata di moda non mi sono fatta sfuggire niente! Pensando a New York mi torna in mente il viaggio che feci anni fa e la cosa che più mi sorprese fu che già sapevo tutto, mi sentivo come in un telefilm. Sapevo esattamente come era fatto il negozio di giocattoli sulla 5th Av, conoscevo i viali del Central Park, la Central Station, ma anche le case, i frigoriferi, le macchine della polizia e quelle dei vigili del fuoco, lo skyline della città, Miss Liberty e il caffè tutto era già stato visto in televisione. The Big Apple has hosted fashion week, like a real fashion addict I have not lost anything! Thinking about New York City reminds me to the trip I’ve made years ago and the thing that surprised me the most was that I already knew everything, I felt like in a TV show. I knew exactly what there were a toy store on 5th Av, I knew the paths of Central Park, the Central Station, but also inside the houses, the police cars and those of the fire department, the city skyline, Miss Liberty, the coffee and everything I had already been seen on television.

Per questo la mia idea della settimana della moda di NYC è come se fosse la seconda puntata de “Il Diavolo veste Prada”! Sarebbe un sogno poter partecipare dal vivo e sedere accanto ad una signora come Anna Wintour solo per poter vedere quando alza il sopracciglio dietro gli occhialoni o se il suo caschetto è effettivamente così statico come si osserva dalle foto; o incontrare Karl ad un party e scoprire dall’alito che è ghiotto di tartine all’aglio. This is my idea of fashion week in NYC is like the second episode of “The Devil wears Prada”! It would be a dream to participate sitting next to a lady like Anna Wintour. I just want to see when she raises her eyebrow behind her extrasize sunglasses or if her bob is actually so static as we can see from the photos, or I would like to meet Karl at a party and discover by the breath that he’s in love with garlic.

Tralasciando la mia fervida immaginazione che mi porta spesso alla deriva ecco qui la carrellata delle proposte newyorkesi che più mi hanno colpito, sia positive che negative, ormai lo sapete che sono irriverente e così come sottolineo il bello, l’intelligente e l’innovativo così mostro anche l’altra faccia della medaglia quella che si tenta sempre di camuffare o minimizzare!
