Roma mon amour

Un altro Lunedì di pioggia e alle spalle l’ennesimo weekend impegnativo. Nella mente tantissime idee e sempre troppo poco tempo per realizzarle. Venerdì ho mollato tutto per fare un giro solitario in centro e ho ritrovato una Roma decisamente incantevole ed affascinante.  Another Monday and it’s raining again; behind yet another busy weekend. In my mind there are always many ideas and never enough time to implement them. On Friday, I dropped everything to go round in a solitaire mood and I found Rome a decidedly charming and fascinating.

Prima che iniziasse il diluvio ho fatto qualche foto: che ve ne pare?Come non si fa ad innamorsi di questa città? Before the flood started I’ve taken some pictures: what do you think about them? Don’t you fall in love with this city?

Ovviamente mi ero attrezzata contro il freddo e la pioggia con un bel paio di stivali ed il piumino in eco pelle di Twin Set by Simona Barbieri. Ultimo arrivato nel mio armadio, ricordate? Devo confessarvi di non aver mai avuto nulla di così caldo, avvolgente e femminile! Obviously I was equipped against the cold and rain with a nice pair of boots and down jacket in faux leather Twin Set by Simona Barbieri. Last arrived in my closet, do you remember? I have to say I‘d never had anything so warm, enveloping and feminine!

Siamo a Giovedì e al terzo appuntamento con i colori della prossima primavera ( primo il dazling blue, poi il violet tulip) ed invece di parlare di quello che tutte oramai conosciamo come trend parliamo di un colore che timidamente si sta affacciando sul red carpet da qualche anno fino ad arrivare finalmente nella top ten: il giallo fresia! We are on the third Thursday and we have the date with the colors of spring (the first was dazling blue, then violet tulip), and now instead of talking about what we all know (Radiant Orchidea) will be a ttrend, we are talking about a color trend that is emerging shyly on the red carpet from some year to finally get into the color top ten: here it’s the yellow freesia!

Sono i primi fiori della stagione, profumatissimi e delicatissimi dal colore intenso! Ce ne sono di varie tonalità, ma quella che ci piace di più è quella gialla! Indosserò volentieri questo colore caldo e solare che sta bene un po’ a tutte! E’ sicuramente un colore importante e che non passa inosservato, dal carattere deciso che può tornarci utile per caratterizzare un look anonimo! They are the first flowers of the season, fragrant and delicate with an intense color! They come in various shades, but what we like most is the yellow one! I will wear happly this hot and sunny color, which is nice on all of us! It ‘s definitely an important color that doesn’t go unnoticed, with a strong character and it can come in handy to characterize a look anonymous!

Eviterei il total look con l’innegabile efferro canarino e lo sfrutterei a piccole dosi, ma non piccolissime: facciamolo notare, ma non strafacciamo! Fumettoso se combinato con un bianco e nero, elegante se accoppiato con un vestito monocromatico o sixty se inserito in grafismi optical! I would avoid the total look with the undeniable canary effect and I would use it in small doses, but not so small: let’s use, but not overdo with it! If it’s combinated with a balck and white it will be like comics, elegant when paired with a monochrome dress or sixty if it’s placed in optical graphisms!

Adoro le scarpe gialle, soprattutto se semplici pumps, quel tocco moderno su un evergreen! I love the yellow shoes, especially if they are simple pumps, a modern touch on an evergreen!

Il colore è molto versatile, camaleontico quasi, solo sul make up non mi convince; il mio consiglio? Beh, signore lo lascierei a chi ha la pelle dìcolor ebano, le altre sembreremmo solo malate di itterizia! The color is very versatile, almost chameleontic, only the make-up doesn’t convince me, my advice? Well, Ladies, I would leave to use those make up only to who have an ebony skin, the other will look only suffering from jaundice!

N 8: L’ear cuff di Fendi peloso e ipercolorato…indecisione tra orco e folletto… N 8: The hairy and hyper colored ear cuff of Fendi collection … indecision between ogre and goblin …

N 7: La morte del cigno ambientata nell’antico Egitto…forse non mi è chiaro qualcosa… Manish Arora illuminami! N 7: The Dying Swan in the ancient Egypt … maybe I can not understand anything… Manish Arora enlighten me! 

N 6: Riciclando un boa Tom Ford ha creato la borsa piccione…creativo! N 6: Recycling a boa Tom Ford has created the pigeon bag… creative!

N 5: La zona si inizia a scaldare e non poteva non esserci Chanel al n°5 con gli occhiali visiera…sicuramente funzionali, ma un po’ troppo da turista, no? N 5: The area begins to go warm and it couldn’t be Chanel at No. 5 with glasses visor … certainly functional, but a little ‘too much to tourists, is not it?

N.4: Sfiora per un pelo il podio lo stivale-sandalo dai mille lacci di Rebecca Minkoff…pensato per la donna contemporanea che non ama perdere tempo…nell’allacciarsi le scarpe. N 4: Tap on the podium the boot-sandal with a thousand laces … Rebecca Minkoff designed for the contemporary woman who does not like to waste time … to tie her shoes.

N.3: subito sul podio troviamo Rochas con le sue flat; le avesse avute Cenerentola sarebbe arrivata in orario al ballo…non assomigliano vagamente ad un mocio Vileda?  N° 3: Rochas is now on the podium with his flat shoes, if Cinderella had them she would have arrived in time to the party …  don’t they look a bit like a Vileda mop?

N2: La medaglia d’argento va a Prada con le sue calzature…che non riesco a definire…uniche e speriamo irripetibili! N2: The silver medal goes to Prada with this shoes … I cannot define them… unique and hopefully not repeatable!

N.1 L’oro lo merita Lanvin con il sacchetto della spazzatura chic…una signora si riconosce sempre!!! N1 The gold medal it deserves

Best men street style @Pitti

Febbraio è vicino; e con lui si avvicinano San Valentino, Carnevale (per noi italiane) e le settimane della moda!Chissà cosa ci riserveranno quest’anno!!! Nel frattempo abbiamo visto com’è andata da Pitti Uomo la scorsa settimana! Tutti fashionisti con barba e cappello ben calzato in testa! In the meantime, we have seen how it went from Pitti Uomo last week! All fashionistas with beard and well-worn hat on his head!

Avvolti da sciarpe o cappe e con una busta di cuoio sotto il braccio! Wrapped in scarves or hoods and with a leather bag under his arm!

Con un tre pezzi e la scarpa bicolore che ricorda nella forma quelle di altri tempi…With a three-piece and two-tone shoe that resembles in form those of other times…

Vi lascio qualche link dove curiosare un po’ tra gli addetti ai lavori…anche perchè è molto più interessante vedere come le persone accostino gli indumenti e gli accessori. Ricordiamoci sempre che gli stilisti propongono la moda e le tendenze e noi…. la moda la facciamo!
