Varsity jacket

Chi non ha mai immaginato di studiare in un college americano? Di indossare la divisa da cheerleader o la Varsity jacket del proprio ragazzo? Beh credo un po’ tutte, vero?  Avrei fatto carte false qualche tempo fa per aver una  bomber jacket (o letterman jacket che dir si voglia) solo per essere libera di scorazzare tra le aule di un college d’oltreoceano! Ma forse mi accontenterò di comprarne uno e di indossarlo sotto il cielo romano continuando a sognare come sarebbe stato se… Who has never dreamed to study at an American college? Who has never imagined to  wear the cheerleader’s uniform or the boyfriend’s Varsity jacket? Well I think a bit all, it’s right?Some time ago I would kill someone to have a bomber jacket (or letterman jacket if you prefer) just to be free to roam between the classrooms of an American college! But perhaps I will simply buy one and I’ll wear it under the Roman sky continuing to dream how it would be if …  

La giacca della quale sto parlando è quella indossata da tutti i protagonisti delle serie televisive americane sotto i 25 anni; io l’ultima sulla quale ho sognato è quella di Monsters University! The jacket I’m talking about is the one worn by all the protagonists of  American movie under 25 years. The last on which I have dreamed of is the Monsters University jacket!

Molti brand hanno rivisitato il Varsity Jacket, adattandolo alla moda dei nostri giorni; H&M, Zara, Alcot e Asos hanno fatto del capo americano, uno degli accessori più in voga della stagione. Capo versatile che a me piace molto se indossato su jeans molto femminili e che mettono in risalto le curve e tacco alto per le meno giovani; invece se l’età è ancora quella dell’high school non c’è nulla da fare: scarpe da ginnastica e tee sono il massimo!  Many brands have revisited the Varsity Jacket by adapting it to modern-day fashion, H&M, Zara, Asos and Alcot have made the American jacket, one of the hottest accessories of the season.  I like it when it’s worn over jeans that highlight the curves and high heels for older people, however if the age is still for the High school there is nothing to do in shoes gymnastics and tees is the best outfit!

Back to school? Ma magari! Back to school? Maybe!
