Someone like it hat!

Sto per andarmi a comperare l’ennesimo cappello! Questa volta però lo voglio a tesa larga;  non larghissima come quello della Signora dei Ferrero Rocher e possibilmente di  un colore meno vistoso di quel giallo canarino. Ce lo ricordiamo tutti, vero? I’m going to buy another hat! I want a wide brim this time, not very large as the Ferrero Rocher Lady one and possibly one a less conspicuous color of the yellow canary. We all remember it, right?

Sui giornali di moda se ne vedono tanti, nei negozi molti di meno! Ma cercando è possibile trovarli, non è impossibile! A Roma, e credo anche nelle altre città, ci sono ancora i negozi di modiste che, con qualche decina di euro in più ne confezionano su misura. Penso che il cappello è un po’ come un naso, ad ognuno il suo!                        On the fashion magazines they see many hat, but in stores many less! It’s necessary a long research but you can find them, it is not impossible! In Rome, and I believe also in other towns, there are still milliners that make a hat for you with a few dozen euro more. I think the hat is a like a nose, to each his own!

Adoro le fotografie nelle quali sono ritratte donne che portano il cappello, le trovo così chic! Per quanto vadano di moda e siano stilosi, non mi riesco a capacitare di  come mai se ne vedono pochi in giro… eppure il cappello è un accessorio importantissimo e, con l’arrivo della bella stagione ci riparerà dai maledetti raggi UVA proteggendo con la sua ombra la nostra pelle, preservandola quindi dall’invecchiamento! Una volta costavano cari, oggi però ce ne sono di tutti i prezzi; è vero che la qualità in questo caso è visibile ad occhio nudo anche dai meno esperti, ma un buon cappello si trova a meno del prezzo di un paio di scarpe. Credo sia un accessorio sottovalutato! I love the photos in which women are portrayed wearing the hat, I find so chic! The hats go out of fashion and are stylish, I can’t understand  why you see them rarely… hat is a very important accessory, and with the arrival of summer, we will protect our skin by its shadow from the UVA damn and then from aging! Once they cost a lot, but today we can choose from the expensive one to the cheaper, it is true that the quality in this case it is visible to naked eye even by less experienced, but a good hat is cheaper than a pair of shoes. I think it’s only because it’s an underestimated accessory!  

Il viso è sicuramente una parte importantissima nel look di una persona. E’ la parte sicuramente più esposta ed è anche quella che ci permette di riconoscere una persona dall’altra; ma oltre ai capelli, al trucco e ad uno splendido sorriso (quello è il trucco migliore che chiunque possa indossare!) possiamo provare a valorizzare il nostro volto con un cappello! The face is certainly a very important part in the look. And It’s certainly the most exposed and also it’s the one that allows us to recognize one person from another, but in addition to hair, to makeup and to a beautiful smile (that’s the best trick that anyone can wear!), we can try to exploit our face with a hat!

Ecco qualche consiglio per sceglierlo. La cupola centrale  deve essere proporzionata alle dimensioni del viso. Matematica a parte: la cupola deve essere larga quanto la distanza che c’è dal mento fino alla metà della fronte. Se non siete molto alte, è meglio che la cupola sia leggermente più alta del volto: questo trucco aiuterà la vosta altezza!In base alla forma del viso si sceglie il cappello, ovviamente la scelta verrà fatta solo dopo averlo indossato!
- Viso tondo: cappelli a tesa ampia, che creano ombreggiatura sul volto sfinandolo;
- Viso quadrato: cappello alto sulla fronte;
- Viso lungo: cappelli rotondi calati sulla fronte, per accorciare le proporzioni del viso;
- Viso piccolo e minuto: cappelli a tesa piccola, che mostrano il viso;
- Lineamenti marcati: cappelli fantasia dalla forma morbida e ondulata;

Here there are some tips to choose it. The central dome has to be proportionate to the size of the face. Depending on the face shape you choose the hat, of course, the choice will be made only after putting it on!
- Round face: wide-brimmed hats, which create shading on the face making it thinner;
- Square face: tall hat on his forehead,
- Long face: round hats put over your forehead, to shorten the proportions of the face;
- Small and minute face: small-brimmed hats, which show your face;
- Marked outlines: fancy hats with a soft and wavy shaped;

Lo stesso vale per gli uomini, in linea generale. Un uomo con la barba o il volto dalla forma rotonda dovrebbe indossare cappelli larghi, che con il loro effetto ombra come ho detto per le donne fanno sembrare il viso più affilato. Se non si è alti non si deve usare un cappello a tesa larga, sembrereste dei funghi!  In general the same applies for men. A man with a beard or round-shaped face should wear  large hats, that with their shadow effect as I said to the women make the face thinner than the reality.
If you aren’t tall you haven’t to use wide-brimmed hats, you’ll look like a mushroom!
